£11m opening bid is decent starting point. Imagine will compromise for about £13m or so which is decent for both sides.

Hughes to Watford from Derby for 4.5m rising to 7. Thought would be higher, know he's had injuries but decent prospect and still only early 20s

Mohamed Salah will cost £34.3m; meaning Andy Carroll will remain Liverpool's most expensive player for the time being. [HASHTAG]#lfc[/HASHTAG] [Paul Joyce]

Let's keep this in mind. People were saying "just give them £45m FFS get it done nooooowwwww!!!!1111".

And now the owners are rejecting £11m for Moreno and people are screaming "FFS just take a packet of crisps get rid nooooowwwww!!!!1111".

But guess who will also be the ones whinging if by the end of the window we're short of the money needed to buy that extra player...

Bidding war over Moreno .. who would have though it.

Interestingly, we could do a swap for Ghoulam at Napoli since they're interested.

Considering the policy you guys run i'm surprised you guys aren't in for Itchy nacho.

Young, quick, goalscoring prowess, not massively expensive (25m) and is going off to ACON in 2 years time. He literally is Michael Edwards wet dream with his goals and assists per minutes

must be.... :)

I.P.Freely also looks brilliant on a spreadsheet

but seriously Iheanacho has most of the time looked quite good when he gets a game. its leicester who wants him so thats another blunder from them cos they need CBs badly and CM not another striker... at least not til they shift their flops from last year.

Not sure about that.

They've bought Maguire so maybe they want 1 more.

Ndidi to me looks the real deal. He needs a more competent partner than Drinkwater though.

I just think Iheanacho has that star quality about him.

Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam is of interest to Liverpool this summer with the Italian side having an £11m bid rejected for Alberto Moreno, say reports

Liverpool fans are divided after learning that the club have turned down an £11m offer for Alberto Moreno .
The Reds are keen to recoup as much as £15m for the left-back and rejected an approach from Serie A side Napoli on Thursday.

Despite being the only senior left-back in the squad, Moreno played second fiddle to James Milner for virtually the entirety of last season.

Liverpool had been keen to secure the services of Fulham's teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon earlier this summer, but interest has since cooled
Both Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sports Italia and Simon Jones from the Daily Mail say the Reds retain an interest in Ghoulam after links to the Algerian left-back emerged earlier this month.

Napoli’s failed attempt to sign Alberto Moreno could make this interesting, and it’s suggested by Di Marzio that a potential swap deal has not been ruled out.

not sure maguire is enough.... For me morgan and huth are well past it.

ndidi... he might be but their system needs both guys screening and hitting ti long.

don't see itchy as you call him being ideal for that.

No leaning today. :frown:

Usually it takes about 24 hours to get blood work back so i think when its not deadline day these things flow slowly.

The fun thing is to wonder how many dodgy deals are entered into to rush a transfer through on deadline day. It seems to be done for "value", "desperation" or just plain "bungs".
