I was giving the best case scenario that we know about. I appreciate the numbers could be worse than we realise.

Hmmm.
I am trying to work out if it is just the way this game gets to you but I see hidden meaning in there.
I agree it is a bluff and very possibly mafia. However it could be any of the evil roles. I am leaning to mafia (because of AFC's wiped details) or.....
Since thinking about the possibility that vampire bites are not published though I think the following scenario could be a possibility. Zanj was the backstabber but was bitten by musty at the first nightfall. After that bite he comes out with a very early and odd play declaring his role knowing it will mean we won't lynch him.He knows he can back it up and that nobody else will be revealed as the backstabber. Now that WOULD be a play I could imagine him doing. Hiding behind the truth (or partial truth).
I think it is definitely a bluff about wanting to be lynched though.
I was about to correct you and say there are only 14 people (as per MITO's post), but you're right there are 13 + 2 unknowns so 15 total.
No there are 14, you were right the first time. The 13+2 doesn't include the (-1) of AFC that we don't know where to include because his details were wiped. Once you add in possible vampires the numbers could be even worse than that for town.

I think we just have to lynch him tonight and see what comes from it. Get another Mafia and then we'll be in good position.
Agreed. As I posted earlier....
We are losing badly at the minute. I think we have nothing particularly left to lose at this stage. If we don't kill mafia soon we are done for. The numbers are already getting close to the point where a team of 3 or 4 known to each other can swing any lynching. If we think Zanj is bluffing then now is the time to do something about it. If we're wrong it means he has won and will harp on about if for forever and a day - but we can still win too as the game will continue.
If we're right and do nothing then mafia will win and we then can't win.
Whichever way around it is then it is one bad guy definitely taken out of the voting, and right now we desperately need that more than anything else.

I appreciate why you are voting for me as a Toon fan and the SK notes, but I think you should look at the posts about Zanj bluffing. If you are town then you need to start looking at the danger that could pose.

It won't be when he wins!
Once you include AFC and the possibility that a town has been bitten we could be down to 5 town players in theory - though I think that is very unlikely and it is probably either 7 or 8 at the minute. Either way, we need to make sure that definite bad guys are removed tonight.
