If you look at his stats from last season he outperformed Gibson and Keane in most areas, in fact it's much quicker to say which Gibson and Keane were better in. Basically they both had more blocks and clearances but less tackles and interceptions, better touches but Keane's passing was worse, committed less fouls per game and that's about it. Maguire wins everything else.

He's massively underrated while the other two overrated and inflated at £25-30m, which is what Everton will have to pay. We got a bargain!

Typical responses lacking any type of thought process, just seeing what appears obvious and running with it.

There are significant reasons why Hull conceded so many and very little has anything to do with Maguire. They played open football meaning the defence was pretty much always exposed and their lack of midfield and everyone around him being useless, culminated in those figures.

This is actually evident by the fact he has more interceptions and tackles than Keane and Gibson, who played for more defensive teams so had more blocks and clearances. Just like Morgan and Huth the season we won the league, our style of play dictated our centre halves stats and it's been evident again this season when Ranieri had us playing more exposed football.

Maybe a little football education is required so we're on the same level because there is more to football than figures in a column, you'd be crap as managers and tacticians.

Not encouraging considering you want a ball player. Gibson had the best passing stats, you should go for him.

I want a defender who can clear a ball, not dribble out from the back like Stones and Beckenbauer.

If Maguire is so good at what you mention, what has shakey moved away from what got Leicester out of trouble and a league title?
