Not sure where all these so-called "nicknames" are coming from, but the only ones that we can say for certain are universally accepted are:-

Skiddy = Bell-End
Pixie = PISKIE
Bod = Bope (formerly known as Bodinki)
Sky = Skylarker
Bambi = Fosse
HIAG = me (I know some of you are beginning to refer to me as "the HIAGster" which is okay by me)
Bruv = Spurly

There are others, but they are far too recent and little-known to be of any significance.

I'm glad that I managed to clear that up.

We have been calling Matth, Meth for about 4 years now :)

I did see that reference, but I never understood what it signified.

Didn't someone say that Matth had mental issues? If that's the case, I really don't want to be part of anything that could be taken to imply that I mock a person afflicted by mental issues.

I'm already borderline with a lot of the stuff I write about Pixie, Bambi and (especially) Skiddy!

He is autistic.
But that has nothing to do with anything.
He gets treated equally.
If someone ribs him for being autistic, then i would be having words.....you know how Bope gets when he is on his soapbox.
I applaud Matth for having the courage to make his youtube videos and the like and putting himself out there. It's more than anyone else does on here.
But to me he will always be our Meth :p

In terms of significance, I think someone literally misspelled his name once and he went mental, and so it stuck.
The irony is, if he'd have said nothing, it would have never become a thing....but that ship has sailed now.

I was merely trying to hint (with a far greater degree of subtlety than you have managed) that you might have chosen your turn of phrase a little more kindly.

More plagiarism from the Bell who I coined the phrase long ago but he doesn't have a brain so he doesn't think too much.
