You forgot and the labour MP.Further can I also just say that the Building regs in England and Wales are woefully inadequate. It is of benefit to the developers and councils as it makes it cheaper to build. It's a complete and utter disgrace. In Scotland you would not get away with no fire alarms, no stair emergency lighting & only one stair case for all of these residents - no fire escape.
For Thereas May the PM to say that 'if lessons are to be learned' If lessons are to be learned? They haven't been and they won't be until people are prosecuted and Building regulations & Fire safety Regulations are brought up to modern standards that are designed to protect the occupiers and not necessarily the owners of the buildings. Theresa May also said that there will be a Full Enquiry. I didn't realise that they did half enquiries, or quarter enquiries. The woman is an offence to the electorate, an offence to the ear. Has she no humanity?
Where the hell did we get this truly awful woman from?
So in essence then, the rich neighbours and Torry council didn't like the sight of the building where poor people lived and decided to wrap the building with a very flammable pretty looking matchbox to fit in with the grandiose scenery. Once all the anger is absorbed, everything will be whitewashed in a few years, and only the forgotten people who lost loved ones will continue feeling the pain while the media finds another tragic story for their headlines.
Council all day long!!Can I ask, but wouldn't this have been sorted by the Council are for which this building is in, Wouldn't that council be in charge of ensuring the building regs and inspections are being complied with, wouldn't that council been in charge of agreeing who had the work and what materials are being used or would that have been decided in Westminster. Just curious.
Council all day long!!
Exactly!!So surely it is their case to answer. But lets blame May for everything. It is an awful tragedy, which will be fully investigated and who ever is to blame is going to be in serious trouble. But let the investigation find out what happened before we lay blame at someones door.
Can I say as for the fire brigade funding, you could have had 10,000firefighters there and they would have been able to do no more than they did, that fire spread so quickly.
You forgot and the labour MP.

Exactly!!
That would be the same materials the Labour council authorised in Clyne court then. The whole of the council are to answer and it will be dealt with, do you honestly think if it had been a Lib dem, Labour, green or any other run council it would have changed the outcome. Be interesting to see what councillors objected to it being done this way. I wouldn't shout to loud till we know.
This site is so ****ing left wing, bye bye

So wouldn't it be the council in charge authorising it and over seeing it or would it be those in the minority who have authorised it.You sure about that then?
Don't let them push you away, that's their nature. Any way they are all full of wind. Roll on the football starting and maybe we can get away from all this political scoring, do we really need 3 threads to shout about how good labour are and how **** everyone else is.This site is so ****ing left wing, bye bye
