Whittingham has been a great player for Cardiff. The time was right for him to move on. Not getting any younger and he will probably get more game time at Blackburn.

He is happy at the back. Wants to replace Whitts and get another wide man and striker. Reckons he might have two in by the end of the week including names not previously mentioned.

Always liked him myself. I especially remember him playing for Forest - he always seemed to play out of his skin against us.

No problem with getting him on board, but depending what he's been promised, I suspect Etheridge isn't to happy about it.....<laugh>

Etheridge is surely 3rd choice now? Heirarchy has to be Camp > Murphy > Etheridge, right?
 
Depending on fitness, I'd expect Camp to start the first game in August with Ethheridge on the bench. I can see Murphy only getting a shot if either is injured.
 
Camp is a good signing.

Sad to see Whitts leave. I would have given him a 2 year deal if that was the issue.

But we move on.
