I'm not trying to 'rescue' anything. I'm simply pointing out the obnoxious nature of some comments on this thread.

You seem so dim that you're trying to defend them, and tring to claim that someone pointing out they're vile is simply anti-Islamic.
 
What's happened the past ten pages was a bit unsavoury.

as LuvGonzo has said this has all gotten a bit nasty with things escalating more and more.

Now what Duncs originally plan was (learn more about Islam or WUM) only he will know but from what i remember (I cba to read back) Duncs basically started the whole spat of and started poking fun at Islam.

Spurs and Highbury then started throwing **** back about duncs family (if he has one). I'm going out on a limb here to say that even though in the literal sense they were saying they going to do whatever with his wife/kids etc, this was more to wind up duncs and fighting fire with fire rather than a direct threat considering we are nobodies online who don't know each other or where each other lives (well maybe not anymore, duncs decided to raise the stakes).

As for the whole these Muslims wanting special rights for their religion, not really on this board it was just duncs and spurs/highbury lobbing **** at each other and the usual dick waving contest that we see on the politics thread / piskie and hiag except that this one was far more crude and nasty

Depends if you've got a five year old daughter.

I have, I think suggestions of raping them is a tad too far to be honest. Although I accept fully that there was a lot of provocation involved.

But yeah, it's just t'intenet so anything goes, however mind numbingly depressing that is.

Exactly this. You would never see that **** said in public over the anonymous internet. I guess in public you know that **** could really happen whereas on the internet it's more bluster.

I do think spurs and highbury went a bit far especially repeated usage afterwards but i can see why they were saying that as they knew it would wind up Duncs (standard your momma **** but a bit further). I can't say how sensitive the boys are on their religion but these boys could probably say that their religion means as much to them as duncs family mean to him.

Doesn't matte though if you have a daughter or not, Duncan made the false claim of having a 6 year old daughter and us Muzzies want to be with her, he played the game and got burnt.

There was nothing about rape, at no stage did I say I would or Spurlock would rape his wife or daughter so not sure why everyone is insinuating that was the case...

I assume you seen Duncan's messages and the pictures to provocate? And saying how we want to be with little girls? So took it to the level where he was crying!

I do take my religion seriously, that doesn't mean that you cant question and debate it but if someone is simply doing it to get a reaction like Duncan then he cant complain about the reaction...there are many examples of me debating and talking about to various posters about my faith with no hint of abuse or anything.

Anyway, I know you were both provoked, I just think that it had gone too far and all three of you needed to review what you were posting. I'm not very often the arbiter of common sense.

You need to read my earlier post first before crying at me and i was making a comparisson to chief that your religion could mean as much as his girl. It's so he can hopefully empathise a little even if religion means nothing to him he should understand that what makes him angry about things happening to his girl could be the same with your religion.

I am not sure why you think I am crying to you, simply putting it straight why his wife and daughter was brought in to the conversation.

Duncan just simply picked the wrong guys to bully and got burnt, that's how I see it..
