David Davis.
This would be the David Davis who voted against strengthening the Military Covenant and contributed to our security by voting against ID cards and mass retention of communications records? And who took his own Tory government to the European Court of Justice over surveillance legislation? The self styled libertarian who can't quite handle same sex marriage? He did oppose tuition fees though.

To be fair to Davis he comes across much better than the rest of them. If he doesn't exercise his flaky tendency to flounce off when he doesn't get his own way, he might even be able to build the relationships needed for a less than disastrous negotiation.

I'm not a fan of his but ID cards were/are a stupid idea.
