Perhaps for another season, but have you ever been to Burnley? A four bed semi costs £30k for a reason, as sh1t holes go there ain't nowt worse !
I have actually - I had a customer there and visited them quite regularly. It's not Salhouse or Ranworth but it is not as bad as Bradford, Blackburn or Barnsley.
He was offered a role but said the last ten games had given him the appetite to try management again! His choice!
At least I enjoyed the games when he was in charge. He gave AP his chance and he grabbed it with both hands and we got to see flashes of what JM can bring to a game. Edit - VERY happy re the news on Krystian Bielik. A Centre Back??? Looks like our new HC isn't Farking about in seeing the need for shoring up our porous/ageing defence!!!
Oh dear yet another loan signing coming in, this is all going to end in tears. I absolutely detest the loan systemwhen it was first introduced it was for emergencies only, now all it does is enable the so called 'big' clubs to hoover up all the talent and then lend them to the underclasses. It should be abolished unconditionally, if you have injuries tough, play the young 'uns Rant over
Not 100% sure on him. Was a big prospect when Arsenal signed him, but doesn't seem to have developed much. At least it's defensive cover, but If he is a 1st choice signing, I'd be a bit concerned.
The Pink'un take on Bielik coming in: http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...ised-to-complete-canaries-loan-deal-1-5056078 Though I'm not keen on too many loans, this one sounds reasonable to me.
We need any CB's we can get. Could be good. I would have rather tried to loan a player like Carter-Vickers from Spurs, but this lad obviously has something. With the deals done in the past week or so, I have faith in this recruitment team at the moment. I think they are going about things in a good way.
Well they certainly are getting on with it, FML. I've been looking deeper into Bielik and it seems he came to Arsenal as a DM/CB but they see his furure at CB. Apparently he can play anywhere across the back four so he may well be the left-sided CB we need as well as providing cover at LB. It's beginning to look like a shrewd move. This from carrowroad.net: "A mobile, solid defender with the passing ability of a midfielder, Bielik fits the mold of a modern Premier League centre-back, and with Norwich City’s manager Daniel Farke coming from Borussia Dortmund II, it seems safe to assume that he will be implementing a possession-based, attacking system with the Canaries." The signing probably won't happen for a while as Bielik is in Poland preparing for the U21 Championship where he could face Jacob Murphy and Angus Gunn.
I DON'T believe it - looks like we're about to sign a CB n loan and the transfer window isn't even open!!! As you say FML - this new management team seem intent on 'righting the wrongs of the past 5 seasons in one transfer window!!!
Going back to Vrančić, the following is from 'German football expert' Alex Chaffer, who is confident that he will be a success at Carrow Road. "Vrančić is a very consistent, deep-lying playmaker who would operate from central midfield," Chaffer told ITV News Anglia. "Occasionally last season he played on the left, but his best and favourite position is in the middle. He is not much of a goalscorer or assist provider, however he is the link between defence and attack. At Darmstadt he began almost every attack and was the transition player, assigned to be the player who started attacks. He has a wide-range of passing skills, is able to pass between the lines and find a long ball out to a wide player. Defensively, he is always well-positioned but is not the best tackler - that is not his job, to be honest. The best use of him is in a more advanced central midfield role in which defensive work is still needed, but not essential."

List of PL players not being retained by their parent clubs. The Manchester City list reads like a who's who of football! http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=494357
Not a great deal of players I can see interesting NCFC there unfortunately! Pocognoli perhaps? 29 year old LB who did well with Brighton last season. Might be an inexpensive option in terms of transfer fees, although wages will probably be relatively high.
