Do you not know any pub land lords who have access to foreign sports channels? I'm sure it will be on loads of them...
What pub was that in? There is one right at the top called The Rock, opposite Miltown Cemetary. Some very strange clientel in there like although I had nee botha! There but for the grace of God eh?
Jacky, now that we've kissed & made up, (what?), try clicking the link in blue so you can get a feel of the site. www.myp2p.eu
Not gonna lie, it was the actual Donegal Celtic clubhouse, but not really wanting to give out exact information for purely anonymity reasons (the bastards will take my kneecaps ). Billy Death - will check tomorrow. Lying in my bed here on android app so wont be able to test it until I get on the laptop
Nee botha, sorry for the misunderstanding. Next time I visit sunny Belfast I'll give that venue a miss. Cheers for the heads up lad.
Jack Lad.It's one thing being a mag.Trying to be UTF and DTS in Ireland stinks.Pineapple understand your feelings but sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut.
Whilst i would never wish to deny any true fan a few bevvies before kick off surely this just blows the coppers theory of moving the game forward to stop drunken antics out of the window.
I honestly don't think that the police tactic of making this fixture an early kick off makes the slightest difference on how much alchahol is consumed...Supporters will always find a way of getting a few beers before this game..
I guess its just the coppers way of covering their own backs. If trouble does flare up then theywill just say we took as much preventative action as was possible. I always park my car in the same place and walk down some back streets by the collieey tavern and on derby day their is always a slightly edgy feel to the atmosphere even when there are no people anywhere near me. I dunno if its just me being more prepared for the potential of trouble but i always feelon esge until im in the ground. Just wish there wasnt a few numpties to spoil it for everyone.b
Always an edge on derby day....Sometimes I honestly feel like this day actually creates its own power source...As if there is actually static electricity in the air..
If you're heading to a town centre pub you might want to give them a ring the day before as the coppers have stopped most of them from opening early. Not sure about Weatherspoons ones which normally open early anyway. They all have to have doorman on and plastic "glasses" too.
The derby is not being televised. It has been moved by the police to try to stop people getting drunk before the game.
