This is something I agree and disagree with. Where I grew up we had the state school and private school opposite sides of the road. We were all mates. Actually at least 50% of the public school students were from normal average family background who's parents/grandparents had saved really hard to send their children there. The public school was obviously a better choice with better facilities and pulling better grades.

I don't think these people should be charged VAT, but for the super rich - absolutely.
