No posts yet so let's get things going here. One going to post today at 3.20 Wolv, surely named after one of the forums favourite posters is non other than MR CHUCKLES. No word from the man himself re this one so surely to be left alone today.

One I do like today or should I say this evening is FLYING PURSUIT in the 8.05 Ripon. Likes cut in the ground and has course form of 2115. Worth an ew punt.

Just been on Skybet to see he is 4/1 and they are paying 4 places too.

Don’t get putting that to the vote on here!

He’s got a woeful strike rate (1/25) but Mr Chuckles’ perch has fallen, as a result, from a peak of 77 to today’s mark of 52. His last few runs show that, the old boy, is undoubtedly handicapped to win another race but if that is this afternoon I wouldn’t be certain. I guess though current quotes of 5/1 are fair.

Meanwhile, is Alan ‘Pards’ Pardew off to Leeds, people. Oddschecker is going mad re bets on him and now odds-on for the post.

    Dursey Sound. 3.00 Uttoxeter.
Seems to be plodding on at the one pace these days, but on a very nice mark and likes genuine good ground. Ran a better race at Hexham lto and maybe the 3m2f distance may suit him. Not too sure what price he is now, but took the 13/2 with Skybet last night.
    Good luck to all!

The one I mentioned yesterday hasn’t been declared.

VINCENT’S FOREVER (3.20) is the one that jumps off the card for me. A dual winner, from just 6 races, on the level for old boy Gosden he was then purchased for £40,000 by those old rogues, the Pipe’s. In 3 of his 4 races for them though he has shown very little. However, the exception was at Taunton, in January, when 3rd behind High Secret (subsequently tried at Grade 1 and rated 141). Off 109 here Vincent’s Forever would be off interest as given his Flat form and that Taunton run you would have to believe that, in time, he could prove a lot better than this current perch. The fact that connections are preserving with him in the NH sphere speaks volumes to me – if they thought it didn’t suit I would envisage they would switch him back to the level to build on the success Vincent’s Forever has already achieved.

    Have a good day.

Made a few quid with the drift so no complaints. Haven't seen the race but seems a length and a half separated the first 3 home. not much after 3 miles +!!

Bad internet. Best we've had for the last 2 weeks is 0.17mbps. Takes 4 hours to get a bet on...on a good day.
Didn't look like message had sent...obviously had.
    Seems it amused Ekboloko.

I normally remove duplicate posts but I'll have to leave that one Mick <laugh>

Tip. If you aren't sure if a message has been posted you can open the forum in another window to check.

Thanks for the tip Ron, but er....that could take some time!!!
Funnily enough, this site is the quickest to load by a country mile. Only takes 10 minutes!! RP, Skybet etc take at least 30 minutes....if at all. Not good. Be in port tomorrow morning so will be tethering phone to lappy and having a betting frenzy! IT blokes coming down to fix said "internet" too....again. We now believe we are being conned, and the company have installed the cheapest set up money can buy coupled with the lowest bandwidth money can buy. We are not happy bunnies!!!
