Was privy (video linked) to a very informative lecture today on the ECS. I'll share more next week perhaps if I get time, but one thing arose which disturbed me.

Organs are still being turned away due to previous cannabis use by their donor. I can't begin to get my head around how backwards that is.

I'm O Negative and they won't accept my blood. 4000 chemicals in tobacco but that's fine. Had I just smoked tobacco they couldn't get it out of my veins fast enough

People are dying in the mean time im sure the recipient wouldnt mind at the chance of life.

Seems I have very little chance of living to a ripe old age as I take no drugs, prescription or otherwise !!!!!!!!!

Neither did my old man, but he just died with Dementia mate. Physically fitter than most men I know, but mentally was totally scrambled, such a horrible disease.

Me to. ****ing epilepsy, what a twat it is.
Christ mate I don't envy you! Don't mind my diabetes (other than the bi-monthly eye injections I gave to have after 39 years with the disease). It's comfortably manageable and I live a normal life! Whinged like **** as a kid though and look at what that poor little Bradley goes through and think "what a dick I was"!

A very big consideration when one ages, I have taken care of this and barring accidents I will decide when I go and peacefully , quality of life is VERY important to me

There was a fella on the radio who said he found a way of guaranteeing living to be 150 (he was in his 50's or something) - live on his own, never had children and never will, never had a wife and never will (nor a girlfriend/boyfriend - no idea whether he was straight or not) - he said this is a way of guaranteeing prolonging your life.

If I could live to be 140 and not have my wife and kids as part of my life, I'd rather die tomorrow!
