An Origi reminder

No surprise the Spaniard has backed the striker to improve, and has served a reminder of his age.
I love to see Origi on the pitch. He is so young. People think that because he has been there for a few years and playing quite a bit – and we only count young players if they are on the bench – but he is only 22 years old.
He is so young and has so much to continue improving. He showed us in some of the games how good he is and I think he can give many good games to the team in future.
He has been waiting for his place. We have to remember last year, when the season was ending, until his injury he was a key player for us.
He scored a few very important goals. This season he was more involved in the team and he will continue getting more and more.
He is a very strong player, very fast, he can score goals, he moves all around and he does a lot of work for the team. And he’s only 22.

you are missing the point.

I SAID LFc prob arranged this to be leaked to try and get southampton to drop a hint of what the **** it will take.

We've not bid for him. there is no club to club agreement.

same as salah. we have a rejected bid for 28mil. there is no agreement between clubs.

the taller the better.

simple math really. if everyone in the front 6 is then much less that 6' someone has to defend set piece across that six yard area.

Matip and van dijk and 2 more tall players (if can signs he has shown issues but is better than henderson at it) will make some inroads into the defending issue

until we know every story published is just one more hack filling column inches by pretending he knows

for example saying a deal is as good as done cos another hack saiys van dijk wants us not city is just easy to do but none of them are on the phone calls between the two clubs, if there has been any...

thus i agree with those saying come back when you see someone leaning in melwood by a sign not when a hack who must publish something recycles the same rumour again and again cos he has to write something... anything..

If a deal is done well and good.. but until then... ignore it. don't get all excited about nothing.
 
Bertrand to City it seems after being put off by Mendy price tag.

Deent player but be edpensive for someone that has 2/3 years left in him at top level.
 
Southampton very unhappy over Liverpool Van Dijk stories today. Asking PL to look into if rules broken. They've had no contact from L'pool
