TBH many people doubt superhoops is an actual Celtic fan, more likely Rangers fan on the wind up trying to make it look like all Celtic fans are paranoid.
I've seen it commented on by many a hun and Celtic fan on here........when I come across them I will let you know, not going looking for them mind
I agree with you to a certain extent Mick but this number of pens thing has nothing to do with anything. Of those record number of pens, I'm hard pressed to think of too many gifts.
Well you would hardly be surprised at some Rangers fans trying to belittle SH but I must say I am surprised at another Celtic fan giving them encouragement which they don't need at all! As for the other Celtic fans doing the same thing - I think I've only seen two at most but if you can turn others up I'll stand corrected. Yes, SH may get a bit 'exercised' about things and we may not agree with all he says but he has a right to his point of view and if you're in disagreement then surely it should be a case of addressing his points and not just writing him off as some Rangers fans take delight in doing?
I never said he was a rangers fan just said people had doubted he was as he fits the stereo typical paranoid Celtic fan the huns & media like to portray
Ok BFB - I'm sure SH can defend himself -and provide plenty of humour in doing so! I just think you and the one or, possibly, two other Celtic fans do SH an injustice by making such comments about him which are manna from heaven to some Rangers fans - just look, for example, at the comment which followed yours. However, what you write is your prerogative but I would ask you to think about it.... why not address his points rather than just writing him off?
The conspiracy theories can be embarrassing when they have absolutely no substance. Many times in the last few seasons, particularly under Tony Mowbray, the refereeing was inconsistent. My point is I would prefer to complain about the times when the referees actually need complained about, rather than some bafoon referee in the Caley Thistle/Rangers match trying to repair the wrong decisions made early in the game with equally wrong decisions late in the game. The ref was **** on that occasion, but being in the job I am in (and indeed I was trading that particular game for my company) it was obvious that the referee was trying too hard to balance the game if anything (in that he recognised he made mistakes earlier and tried to rectify them). I think sometimes we can accuse refs of being bias in the mistakes that they make, without recognising that the mistakes are generated from a genuine effort to be 'too' neutral on certain occasions.
i can see why the ref gave the first pen, after all it was a tackle by ross tokely ffs. i imagine the ref could not believe that he had won the ball
It was a penalty IMO. He cleared the man and the ball. The 2nd one was soft, but that's what these foreign players do. Slightest touch in the box and they will give the ref a decision to make.
There is no conspiracy against Celtic... Just a very poor, inconsitant , level of refereeing in Scotland! They are paid less than many young players at Celtic/Rangers per game ... pay them more/make them full time then constantly have them in training sessions and assesments.
Do they not do this down in England and yet barely a week goes by without some refereeing controversy? The refs are on a hiding to nothing. The games has changed so much in years: it's faster, there are a lot more rules and a lot the players are basically cheats diving and feigning injury etc. I have no problem with refs making mistakes. We all do. But it's the lack of consistency that gets on your nerves. Take Thomson at the Celtic v Dundee Utd game. After booking a few Dundee Utd players for bad tackles he then let them off with warnings for almost exactly the same bad tackles later in the game. Next week he'll probably send a player off for doing the same thing.
There's no conspiracy but the Jelavic "goal" in the first half WAS offside. Both of their shouts in the first half (with the second one being easily the best shout) were decisions most away teams would never get anyway. The two penalties they got were absolute jokes. As I said yesterday, I remember Rangers fans on 606 last season when Maloney got brought down for a pen at Motherwell - they were all up in arms about it and foamed for weeks. Goian's dive was laughable. Swings and roundabouts but you can bet that, should we get ANY penalties that soft this season regardless of the context of other decisions around them, the Gers will pen at least 3 articles about each one.

But alot of these refs are already in well paid jobs, guys like Dallas and Clarke are high earners. Apart from John Rowbotham, I was working at Leuchars at the Air Base and the Baldy **** was working as a delivery driver for some confectionary firm, needless to say, we gave him it tight when we saw him.
"A conspiracy is nothing but a secret agreement of a number of men for the pursuance of policies which they dare not admit in public" - Mark Twain Dallas and Dougie anyone? The one thing that makes me think that a conspiracy could exist is the point blank refusal to entertain the idea We have it happen in Germany, Italy and the halls of FIFA, yet a mere mention in Scotland and you are labled paranoid Do they protest too much?
