And so the clear out begins:

Read earlier today that Anichebe, Kirchhoff, Peinaar, Lescott and Buckley are to be released at the end of their contracts this month.

O'Shea and Larsson to be offered new contracts apparently as well.

TBF we could all have nominated that list, Kirchhoff was good on his day but too injury prone, the rest are just injury prone and I include Anichebe in that category as well.

I suppose Larsson might be alright in the Championship, he's not quite good enough for the prem but could shine in a lower league. He always puts a shift in at least and would be on much less pay. O'Shea... I think he's past it personally and won't be much use. In addition I think he has too much influence but doesn't seem to use it positively.

Please no. They are finished.

Larsson can be good with some pace around him. Move him into the middle and have people like Watmore outside, for that league I think he's good.

O'Shea is likely to have a torrid season if he plays i think. Some of the strikers last season did genuinely have something about them, he's a worry.

When we signed an over-the-hill French full back three seasons ago my first thought was that he would be slaughtered for pace. His positional sense and anticipation more than covered it and we could have given him another season.

Don't write the oldies off for pace when brains make up for it.

That's an entirely fair comment unless you're referring to O'Shea, who is below average in every possible way. He makes far too many mistakes for a veteran player, has weak physicality and is still caught ball watching an unbelievable amount considering his experience.

**** ya waffling about Nos?

Think he's on about Reveilliere (making up the spelling), that RB we had a couple of years ago and saying that if he could do a job than so can O'Shea. Difference being that Rev was quality and O'Shea is a liability.

Yes. As per Haslet. I got the Rev bit. But the rest was bollocks...sorry nos

John O'shea doesn't have brains. Every corner kick and freekick there's a gaping abyss where his brain should be.

Rev played Champions League virtually his entire career. He had a worldclass footballing brain, something that can't be said for O'Shea and Seb.
