I was speaking humanitarian youre speaking nationalities yes they can come over here any time they like and settle here anytime they like if they abide by our laws and customs I don't like the bullies, the scumbags that are free to move among us they need to be dealt with <ok>
I live in Italy I abide by their laws and customs I'm atheist I don't go round blowing up Italians just because they are Catholic if I did I would expect them to want me gone odds are I would wake up one morning with a horses head on my pillow and I would deserve it couldn't complain but Britain doesn't seem to care about the Brits who are being killed and the scum are roaming free to do whatever they want not good in my mind <ok>
to my knowledge the Argies havnt invaded the Falklands since that time but the killing is still going on back here <yikes>

No, I'm talking about the juxtaposition at the time - the Falklanders were so dear to Maggie that she wouldn't allow them into this country without jumping through all sorts of visa requirement hoops. It's all been sorted now, but at the time, they were effectively personae non gratae. So why send 100 ships & risk so many lives if you'd made it perfectly clear that you had no interest in their welfare?

Unless you has an election to win.

you are funny we probably wouldn't have let the Poles into Britain without jumping through hoops as you put it but it doesn't mean Hitler had a right to invade them <yikes>

That was a threat which was literally closer to home. A wee island 8000 miles away that you've effectively disowned carries no threat to the British Isles.

<sorry> Went back & checked it out. You are right re. the Marines. It was April 3rd. The article I posted stated it happened on April 25th. Can't understand why the Daily Mail are making this claim. But of course, it's a tory paper & I should have realised that they don't know what the truth is.

China is currently bullying nearly all of Asia,and the USA is trying to stop them,thousands of miles from the USA but its the right think to do,if you can,they can and we could with the Falklands.Shouldn't have happened and I blame maggie for that but once it had happened we had to get it back IMO.

I can't say I like what China are doing - and it worries me! - but I have to doff my cap to them. Their strategy is both unique and fantastic. It must have taken years & years of careful and secret planning to develop the satellite islands. Basically trying to do what Argentina failed to do with some ready-made islands. :D

And as ever, it's all about natural resources.

Couldn't agree more with what my brother in law said earlier that all those loons on the police watch list should be rounded and banged up without charge or conviction, bollocks to their human rights as it's about protecting the masses.

I don't know if the 3 last night were on the police watch list as it was so random and hard to protect against.

they should be rounded up loaded onto tankers and shipped home
then when they are halfway home someone should pull the plug out <ok>
