I'm surprised it hasn't been banned in Trumptonia, bearing the name of some dark, foreign land.

actually never had yank beer if you exempt the fact Bass brewery is now owned by Coors <grr> (though Bass beers are still brewed as that brand wasn't included in the sale)
Wonder if RHC knows yanks make money everytime he has a pint of piss Carling

Yank beer is brilliant mate. Not the common ****e like Bud but the real beers like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Brooklyn Beer. Only crap thing is that they are getting popular and are brewing under license in the UK now so you have to check. Samuel Adams are guilty of this as are Devils Backbone, it's not the same.

Its about taste but they loaded the **** out of it with hops and now today people are basically using every hop on the planet and more to make "craft" beer which is basically nothing but hops.

the yank ones you can tell east from west etc cos they are not killed with hops.

I know what you mean, I'm not a fan of the UK stuff. Brewdog is good though. My fav is Brooklyn Lager nice Balance to it. I had Sierra Nevada on tap once and that was lovely.

Big Willy Fisher is one of the hardest men in Latchford. He's OK when sober, but treat with kid gloves when intoxicated <yikes> He came in yesterday afternoon and wanted to put some music on the jukie, but didn't know how to use it and asked me to show him. I didn't think saying no would be particularly sensible, but I thoughtit'd be **** coming on.

I was wrong. I asked him what he wanted on and he said Steely Dan - Haitian Divorce. So I showed him how to do it. He followed that up with Echo and the Bunnymen, The Specials and Neil Young. We then went on to discuss music for about an hour. We're now bezzies and it's woe betide anyone who ever causes me any grief <laugh> A very handy mate to have <ok>

So kind. So are you around next Monday for a jar? It'll have to be near Kings Cross due to the crutch situation.
