It does look a bit far-fetched, tbh. Our only hope of getting a semi-decent price for him is if the chairman of a big European club has suddenly woken from a coma that has lasted since the end of Euro 2016.Only because punters are unimaginative and lazy. We don't want him back, he wont want to come back here and I cannot see Levy agreeing to sell him at a reduced rate back to us. My understanding is that we're getting £6m a year for him, so currently there's £24m still outstanding and at the end of the summer £18m. There's no way we'd agree to £18m so effectively if we agreed (for instance) £15m Tottenham would have to pay us an extra few million pounds for us to take him. Can you see Levy agreeing to that? I can't.
