He only has himself to blame, lauding himself to Barcelona for them to not actually bid for him. Don't get me wrong, I like Reina but making it out that we unfairly got rid of him is bs tbh.
Was he really lauding himself out that much? Also you could tell he was super passionate about liverpool. Likewise, Suarez lauded himself out to anyone and even begged to go to Arsenal. He came back with a heroes welcome (and rightly so, he was a phenomenal player).
Well i have my reasons but i don't count Newcastle as rivals so its not an issue for me: 1. I like Pep, i thought he was a great keeper (haven't seen him since so i can't comment) 2. It's always fun to laugh at liverpool 3. It would further cement what a mistake it was to keep minger and ditch Reina so will make me right 4. i don't actually mind newcastle
Bobby's right we have been over and over this one but I will just reiterate that Mignolet was bought before Reina even mentioned Barcelona. Lots of fans think he only has himself to blame but the reality is he was being pushed aside for Mignolet.
