We've got 2 extremely different Muslims (and others) trying to educate idiots like me about Ramadan.

I don't know much about Islam apart from the fact there are Sunnis and Shias, who are like the City and United of Islam respectively. Forgive my ignorance, I am trying to learn.
My ex's dad did try to convert me which in hindsight wasn't a bad trade off since I was defining his daughter.
