    I agree that Ashley is not to blame with the Carroll saga

    But, he has done a lot of wrongs

    What else can the club do, they rejected the bids then Carroll pulled the trigger by putting in a transfer request, probably pushed by his agent and motivated certainly by money, leaves Pardew flatfooted as how can you replace such a talent and the potential goals he would have scored at a critical time of the season.
