Phil Neville,

"The difference between United's form going into this final and the 1999 Champions League success that I was part of comes down to momentum.

Back then, we had just won the Premier League and then the FA Cup.

But there are still similarities this time - things that were drummed into you at Old Trafford when I was there, and still are under Mourinho."

So, this united team aren't a patch on the 99 team, haven't just won the FA Cup and haven't just won the league title and aren't in the Champions League final, yep loads of similarities.<laugh>

Yeah but it's Phil Neville isn't it. He'd know ALL about what it takes to be a top side.
He'd be there front and centre for Ferguson, sitting there hanging on every word as the unused and unneeded slightly uglier Neville brother

Or know where your best chance is :emoticon-0100-smile

Klopp had the same choice last year, I hope we don't fail the way you did.

Don't worry, you've shown none of the tactics, energy, passion, or skill to suggest you're going to be successful next season like Klopp did

Debateable. He's improved you guys but to call anything he's done so far a "success" is a bit far fetched. You've managed to sneak into Arsene's top 4 trophy and are still miles away from anything yet.

Even the Mancs of a poxy league cup to show for it

So the third qualifying round, Northerner group eliminator of the CL is seen as a success<laugh>

Thought with season finished might chill out on the bitterness and wum posts but seems to have got even worse... I guess our 'success' and improvement this year has people worried :bandit:

That's some serious revisionist BS there lol.

Won the league, no sixth.
Won the Cup, no the other one which doesn't count in a true double or treble like 99.
Playing for the right to be the best team in Europe and win said treble, no it"s the Europa cup final for teams who couldn't qualify for or dropped out of the CL.

Right Phil, what a tube. Don't get me wrong, winning it and LC and CL qualification will be a very good season but like 99. My arse.

Unless he was talking about Juve this season and mixed his words up. Wouldn't be the first time!

He also gave Zlatan player of the season (and man of the match in the final)
