You've had 3 managers this season. We beat you 3 times this season. Temporary reprieve from relegation for you- don't kid yourself.
Southampton sounds like a decent fit to me...Though Watford would still be my favourites to take Silva. Had to laugh about that hapless Walter Mazzarri ...He gets sent to the stand yesterday and the Watford fans chant 'OFF..OFF...OFF'
It's not looking like Southampton. Silva's terrible away record could hold him back - hopefully. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...a-not-southampton-shortlist-sack-claude-puel/
Spent a weekend down there for the City game, so hardly a qualified opinion buuuuuuuut I thought it shared a few traits with Hull. The old City walls are fascinating yet hardly any signposts or info about them. Some very nice buildings - some dating back centuries interspersed with modern post war monstrosities - an obvious sign of war bomb damage. The memorial (in front of the old White Star Line offices) to the hundreds of local people lost on the Titanic was pitiful. Overall impression was maybe there's something about port cities and the ability to understate and undersell themselves - although that is changing here in Hull it seems.
He's been linked with the Porto job, easily the best in Portugal. Why wouldn't he take that if offered?
Spent some time there in the early 90's when on my driving course when in the daft and barmy. Absolute khazi back then, might have changed since but it was rough as arse holes. Full of scum.
Used to live in Salisbury and visited Southampton occasionally, very occasionally, and some areas were terrible. New Forest was nice though.
