Yes he did, but what is the point, as many others who have tried to do the same thing has failed. So because Vardy did well that means Bartley is as well. My opinion is he is a good championship defender and a good squad member, just don't see him as a starter, if you do good for you. I don't.
I'm surprised that I have to make the point. The point is that player's can make it either via lower divisions, non league, or come back better equipped after a loan period, and to write him off without having another look at him would be an opportunity missed. I wasn't actually comparing Bartley with Vardy. Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's, and I don't see why you are getting het up about it. If Clement decides he isn't up to it, then it has cost the Club nothing. If, on the other hand ....
Fully agree, but he does deserved the opportunity to see if he can now handle it at this level, because he has all of the physical attributes to form a great partnership with Mawson for the next 5-10 years. Until proven, he'd be our 3rd choice CB but we still need a CB to come into the team. Fernandez and Mawson still make to many errors for me.
I think he's done/doing his coaching badges? I'd prefer to see him coaching within the club, maybe with the youngsters.
Oh, there are some bad losers on here today. Lots of Osprey's found floating in the water this a.m. Their wings well and truly clipped.
I haven't said anywhere here that we shouldn't look at him, what I have said I see him as a squad player and wouldn't improve the starting 11.
I think he could end up at an Everton but not a Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool etc. Of course, a lot could happen over the next 5-6 years, but at present I see nothing that suggests a top 4 side.
Yes please.... http://the4thofficial.net/2017/05/swansea-city-interested-championship-star-ideal-partner-llorente/ http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39992572
