He needs to analyse how Watford will help his career. Finish in the top 8 or get the sack. If I finish 9th, will other clubs be willing to give me a job? If I finish 15th, will other clubs be willing to give me a job? I guess the one guarantee is that at least 6-7 prem jobs will become available at some point within the next 15 months. Stick or twist? Sitting outside the top 6 in the championship would be career suicide in terms of future prem jobs.
Realistically at present he's unlikely to get one of the top 7 jobs (as the table stands at present).
The only clubs apparently looking to get rid, or have got rid of their manager - Southampton, Lester, Watford, West Ham maybe. Wouldn't be surprised if Dyche got head hunted for these (apart from Watford)
The others probably will remain loyal for the time being - Bornmuff, Burnley, Stoke, Swansea, WBA and Palace. The three promoted clubs unlikely to change.
Watford appears best bet. Put in a good season or two there and then the bigger clubs may start looking.
Burnley - if Dyche moved on upwards.
WHU / WBA if they were sufficiently dissatisfied with Pulis and Bilic.
I think he's very astute and unintentionally has let slip a couple of times what a **** up City are, which makes me think he'll be better off elsewhere. Hope not and he might just surprise us, but I'm not holding my breath.
