No probs New Poster guy .... given that you only appeared when Quentin (that's HIAG by the way <laugh>) and his thermal footwear got banned, you will not know the history of these things and an explanation is therefore incumbent from those of us that were central ...

Back in January 2016 HIAG commented that Leicester CIty's lofty position in the leagiue was doomed to spiral and that we might just manage to hold on to 4th and a Champion's League spot .... I responded by saying that I could see no reason why we couldn't continue our excellent form, for varioua reasons, such as a very settled starting line up and no Europe distraction to complicate things.

HIAG was apoplectic that I held such a counter opinion to his own, branded me naive as a reult and started referring to me as 'Bambi' in many posts and even individual threads that he created, such was the depth of his obssession with me (I kid you not <yikes>. The inference was that Bambi was a naive young thing.

I'm neither of course and HIAG, as usual, hadn't thought it through completely (possibly down to his attention defecit disorder - rumour has it that he has never managed to completly finish a book, even those that he started coloring quite early). As anybody who has seen the film knows, Bambi goes on to become the King of the Forest. Somewhat prophetically (indeed the only preciction of HIAG''s that has come true - albeit unintentionally), Leicester City went on to become 'Kings of the Premier League' and HIAG was left with a container load of free range eggs dripping down his face.

As it is, I quite enjoyed his nickname for me as it was a constant reminder of the phenomenal succes of the "coming of age" season for Leicester City.. and I'll miss him accordingly <whistle>

Word of warning - should he come back - probably best not to call him Quentin - it makes him cry and demand explanations - another character trait - likes to dish it but obviously can't take it - which is largely why he's been banned.

Welcome to you mind, - refreshing to see that him (and "Saintsfan08") going and you coming means the overall participatory level on the forum remains the same <ok> .

@667 - The Neighbour of the Beast - You will also notice that Fosse aka Bambi likes to write very long posts. No one expects you to read all of it <ok>. I doubt anyone does.

Well it is certainly gratifying to note that no one was wound up by this HIAG.

He was just a harmless flute in the main, he used to wind himself up when his wum's inevitably backfired on him, which was always funny to watch.

I think he had a cock like a peanut <ok>

I joined this chat room a few years ago and made some early postings mainly on the Liverpool forum (my brother is a massive fan) but didn't seem to get on well with the residents. I backed off from that point. I have made a few postings on the Arsenal forum over the years but that too started to get hairy what with the increasing antagonism over Wenger, so I backed away from that too. I have looked on from afar on various boards just to see what's going down, but haven't really followed this board. I didn't really know it existed until recently. Shame cos I might have posted here before now.

There are some great characters on this forum. I don't feel out of place at all. If I make the mistake of referring to someone by the wrong tag please forgive and bare with me.

Okay. I didn't really think about it. I was just trying to blend in. Was hoping that I could get some ways down the road before screwing up I must admit <laugh> The main reason I haven't post much before now is for fear of offending someone. It seems to be easily done on this chat room.

To rest of you though, I still, and will never, make no apology for what happened on Tuesday.
HIAG got himself, and Saints, banned by his own ****wittery and basically provoking brb, when anyone who knows anything knows brb isnt to be ****ed with.
brb's initial post was little more than a reminder (to EVERYONE) to keep the bickering to one thread.....HIAG is the one who decided to take it personally and make a show of himself with the "I'm off!" thread <ok>

I'm a moderate Gooner. I can see both sides of the argument. Let me tell you that's not a very healthy place to occupy in discussions with fellow Arsenal fans. I manage to piss both sides off in equal measure. The Wenger Out crowd accuse me of wanting more of the same-old same-old and the Wenger Stay crowd accuse me of entertaining the children! I offend both crowds and get accused by both of being insincere <laugh>

So as you can probably tell I am rather sensitive to not wanting to step on toes!!!
