To be clear, brb created a sticky whereby Hiag and his pack of 'fans' could **** each other 24/7 if they wanted to. Those that didn't want to read that **** then wouldn't have to.

Like luv, Bod, and others, I was getting very bored with every thread getting hijacked by their constant bickering.

Even that idea met with resistance. brb gave Hiag time to respond. He didn't and that was that.
Agree with all that - have said so many times. Just thought the banning was a bit strong and didn't address the real culprits. There are some vile disgusting posters on there and they now feel they've won a battle.

A day's ban to clam down for HIAG I would have understood - he did lose it wrongly over BRB initial idea which I accept was a good one - but there's a bit of throwing out the baby with the bathwater for me. HIAG is a part of this site - albeit with an oversized ego. Our mods handle him really well - the humour without the obsession - and a clamping down on baiting and bullying would've have yielded the same results and made it a place I would want to post again.

Sticking firmly to the Spurs board from now on. Spurlock made sure I posted there immediately after I'd decided never to go there again, as it looked to me that he would inadvertently get CK banned as a HIAG sock account - a very funny suggestion, chalk and cheese doesn't do it justice - but I wasn't sure how many on there know him. So now I am stopping.

Haha I remember that, he came back and ripped into Piskie IIRC because it was he who reported him.

Thing is, whether anyone else would admit it, a lot were drawn to the Prem board for the banter, there was never really much genuine football talk anyway, it's opposition fans just having a laugh and HIAG was a main contributor to that. Some just got nasty once they realised HIAG was too much for them, sort of like when a kid loses an argument so they just result to saying "**** your Mum".

I was hoping he would deal with this weeks shenanigans a bit differently and stuck around to see if Brb would be consistent. Give the claim time to build with regards Brb's new rules.

Hope the boy Hiag comes back....brilliant poster....made me laugh every day..guaranteed.

Not sure how much you read, SD. Hiag started by saying that it gave him free license to create wum threads and the others wouldn't be able to respond. He was told if he did that he'd be up first for a ban. Hiag didn't like that idea and went off on one. He was offered the chance to calm down, tbf. The rest you know.

Possibly I missed something. Jesus he had an ego on him. I can only speak about last months and years on what I saw. Probably feel guilty as HIAG never posted on there until I pm'd him and urged him to. Mea culpa.

Do you recall which thread? I will read it, to make sure I am not defending the indefensible (have done that before)

The bickering was tedious to an extent I agree but I'd point out again that HIAG was never really rude or nasty in any of his posts, some of those he bickered with I can't say the same of though.

There's no doubting HIAG was an instigator but he was a funny one at that, anyone that found him not funny should - in my opinion - have just blocked him.

Anyway, it's done now, I just personally hope the lad is allowed to return sooner rather later as I found him very funny.

yeah, just read it. Have to say I don't see what NSIS sees, but perhaps I am just battle weary from it all. A self imposed break from it might restore my perspective.

Post [HASHTAG]#245[/HASHTAG] is brb's initial reply to Hiag's claim to have a free rein at wumming. It sort of deteriorated from there....

Sorry, but it's Post No. 245 about page 13-14
Yep read it. I agree, he talked himself out of here. I think I know what he meant (he sees wumming as a fun, jokey thing and it was the reaction that led to the tedium) but I can see from that BRB had no choice without doing a 2 week investigation. Simpler to lance the boil I guess.
HIAG needed to come back and explain himself, but seemingly didn't take the opportunity.

Afraid not, mate. I did PM him and try to tell him to calm down, but he chucked all his toys instead and started his 'I'm off' thread..

I haven't got my head round the point of it all (wumming). Seems a complete waste of time in order to wind up someone else to waste their time, and then at some point in the future claim some kind of "victory". I can think of a lot better ways to spend my time.
