I can't believe some didn't realise Barnacles was wumming with his all his posts. He's just more or less told you he has been taking the piss out of the site for 6 years <laugh> have to say Barnacles, well done for keeping it up so long. Huge commitment from you. Takes a lot of time and effort to do that.

I very rarely read his posts if I saw more than 3 lines as once you read one you read them all. The man/woman is a sad individual and most likely a very lonely and bitter person. I pity them but I couldn't care if he posts again either. Putting up horses like Chippenham with a short story write up at 7/4 and then telling the forum he was only joking about the horse and his chances after it loses <laugh> imagine the amount of people who pop on here and lose their hard earned over such tripe.

Barney was ok a year ago but he lost the plot somewhat since his Simonsig meltdown, which was not an act for a change.

The Derby looks a strange one this year. Youd be astounded if Churchill turned up and hes clear 3/1 fav, says a lot about the trials so far I suppose. I dont like the Guineas form, surprise surprise you say, dont think it was a great race.

Before the trials so far id have taken Mirage Dancer, and id still take him after them. Cliffs Of Moher as expected was nothing special, Mirage Dancer was clearly the horse in that race.

Perhaps the Dante will produce something, Cracksman look solid but he doesnt look Golden Horn level to me and id be disappointed if he won, Crystal Ocean would certainly shake up the Derby market im hoping either he, or something similiarly unexposed can put in an authoritative performance, or else were looking at a 5/1 the field Derby.

Bloody hell have not been on the forum for a couple of days and I have come back to a complete meltdown!!

So does this mean Barney is not really Sir Barney Chuckles from Chippenham and in fact he is just Barney from the Block <laugh>

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, my old love, what happened?!? Your remark that Bling King will win led me to have the family silver on the horse. To quote old boy, Sid James, ‘Phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhwooooooooooooooooooooooor’.

The boys in IT have advised that the firewall has still to be constructed (that line is total 21st century gobbledegook. Would we ever have said something so meaningless prior to 2000!) but will be up by the end of the day. Therefore, I’ll hang around until then

Come on, people, Barney Chuckles was only ever a dappy Not606 forum ‘character’. Don’t go all moralistic now and pretend you thought otherwise! I’m sure every other username on here is the same!

Ummmm…Barney Chuckles is a Not606 Forum ‘character’ just like every other username. I’ll whisper this quietly. He doesn’t actually exist.

Not sure how to respond re that Chippenham account. Did you really think I was serious then when I said John Ferguson ran down the length of the Newmarket gallops and because he was so impressed with the horses work immediately monikered him Chippenham! Ummmmm…no.

Like all the ‘I’ve been told’ stories on here…it was total fabrication. If you thought I was being serious I apologise just thought everyone would know it was made up tosh!

Ron, my old love, if you are going to edit my posts then fair enough that’s your prerogative but at least if you do leave them resembling at least a modicum of sagacity. That 1st paragraph on my post timed at 8.37 am now makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!

If I could be serious for a minute. Didn’t plan on making my dying moments on the forum thus but I’d be amazed if that cyber crash / hack / whatever they correct terminology is (delete as appropriate) wasn’t initiated solely by the I.T. professionals themselves as they are now all set to earn a ruddy fortune. 2 ‘consultants’ have turned up at the coalface this morn and apparently one after saying the word ‘tut’ twenty times and shaking his head incessantly remarked, ‘This will take more than a sticking plaster to fix’…whatever that means. Nice work if you can get it as they will almost certainly be charging the taxpayers around £800 a day for this ‘consultancy’!

Indeed. I don’t want to give you a big head but I never for one moment classed you and Don in that category. Your tales of the likes of Buzz and Squire are, to use a terrible old pun, straight from the horses mouth. I’ll miss them.

I’m sure though that I’m not the only one who has in the past rolled his eyes somewhat and muttered, ‘Told by whom the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker?!? Or the voices in your head’ on reading some of the ‘I’ve been told’ accounts. Entertaining reads some of them but a million miles away from being ‘insider’ info.
