Think they've gone lads? <laugh>

Wrong again.
Can you read that back without a flush of embarrassment, particularly after the 'banter' comment?

Come on, the floor is yours. I know it's not something you're used to on your board, but the world is looking in, so this is your chance to shine, and show them what you've got. <ok>

Over to you. Show us your best high level banter.

The whole world.
Fluked ur way to the prem and still have hardly any fans and only half a dozen posters here....
25% of the fans you did have will revert to leeds now and you know it.

Who owns Leeds United's stadium as a matter of interest then, ,as it isn't Leeds United? At least we know who owns our stadium. The council, like Inter, Milan, Lazio and others.

Used to be Hunslet RLFC until the council let Leeds United move there following financial irregularities (imagine, a football club from Leeds being involved in dodgy financial goings on, hard to believe!) led to a new club being formed. Lost control of it twice due to trying to compete with the big boys (despite being the largest one club city something they have never. managed). To paraphrase Oscar Wilde (look him up), to lose a ground once can be construed as misfortune,to do so twice is carelessness. Which is why the council in Leeds, after misusing ratepayers money to bail out Leeds United, insisted on ground sharing with Hunslet RLFC. Of course Leeds United have only once got a larger crowd than the 54,000 who turned up at Elland Road for a Leeds RLFC v Hunslet game. Whereas the largest ever crowd for a rugby league game is half of the highest one for a football one.
I guess that means Leeds is a rugby town.

Given your main club is Garry Hetheringtons mrs's plaything I am shocked you mentioned rugby as its just something else you aint been very succesful at.

How did we fluke it?

Also, who would bother supporting Leeds when there's a dilapidated ****hole ground just across the bridge in Cleethorpes?

Blimey quite a few (play offs allowing). Don't know if I've missed any.

Leeds
Hull
Boro (close enough)
Wendies
Dog botherers
Bradford perhaps
Barnsley
Blunts
All present and correct. It will be an interesting sideshow to next season - a mini-league of 8 Yorkshire teams. More fun than matches against Chelsea and Arsenal et al.
