Now now don't take it personally <whistle>
It's not Spurs Way basically. That's not a bad thing as we showed last season you don't have to spunk money at it. But can I see Spurs offering 40/50 mill and 100k per week? No absolutely not. You'd need to see to the current crop to make sure they're happy first.
Sissoko absolutely not. Rather play myself
We've dished out a ton of long contracts this season in an attempt to keep the current players happy.
Time will tell if that's worked.
We already pay one or two players more than that though, according to various reports.

As for the fee, we paid nearly as much for bloody Sissoko and Soldado and Lamela weren't that much cheaper.
I think that we could come to an agreement, assuming that the talk about Mahrez expecting to go is accurate.
I just expect someone with more money and possibly more clout to come in for him.

Winger Riyad Mahrez will be the first of several senior Leicester players to be sold this summer - with Paris St-Germain willing to pay £35m for the 26-year-old.(Daily Star)

Oh, dear!

I did try to warn you lads! Don't shoot the messenger, just debate the news like adults, please!

First off, which players do you think will **** off in the Summer?

Secondly, what devastation is that likely to cause your club?

Thirdly, do you think you can stave off relegation next season.

Fourthly, do you agree with me that £35m is about fair for Mahrez, and would you have any objection to Levy snapping him up for £36m?

As I say, let's be adult with this discussion, lads. I know that some of this is painful for you some of you, but that is no reason why we cannot hold a sensible and realistic discussion.

Quentin - we all have acces to the BBC Gossip Column ... "Gossip" is the key word sweet cheeks .... if you are going to go to the trouble of posting stuff from there on here, please be consistent and post similar on other Spiral threads e.g

Tottenham Hotspur are determined not to sell 23-year-old midfielder Eric Dier, but Manchester United are ready to pay up to £40m to sign him. (Daily Mail)

Secondly - I think Spurs have more chance of signing me than Mahrez <laugh> (and more chance of you going to a live game - so none <laugh>)

PSG and Marseilles are the front runners for Mahrez ... <ok>

Why are you so concerned with Leicester?
Did you hold a ST for them too?

See, that's a sensible comment, Bambi!

There really was no need for all the verbiage and bollocks that preceded it.

You can hold a half-decent footy conversation, if you want to. Sure, you have a limited knowledge, and you do struggle conceptually to link logical statements, which makes following your "arguments" often extremely tedious, but you can certainly work with what you've got. It's the taking part that matters, mate. <ok>

No, Bods. That's being silly, isn't it!

I have a wide-ranging and varied knowledge and appreciation of football matters, mate. I am, if you will, a footy polymath.

It's no secret ... January 2016 he predicted that Leicester City 'might' just get a UCL spot at the end of the season (inference being that we were fortunate to be where we were) - May 2016 Leicester City take the title by a 10 point margin ...... it's the hurt that will never end for him ...the humiliation has been excrutiating ..<wah>

HIAG is like the little boy at school that only gets picked for a footie kick about because it's his ball ... he then can't stand that he is losing as usual so insists that the game keeps being extended ...hoping that the other kids might get bored at some point and put thei ball in their own net just so they can get away ... he can then declare himself a "winner" <laugh> ... sort of kid that will grow up to be a sore loser and a bet welcher..... but also a prime source of amusement for everyone else <laugh>

Cheers Quentin ... your opinion means a lot to all of us ...

Ah the fountain of all BBC gossip column knowledge is back. You know what gossip means right?

How about this for a four point debate

1 - you know you started this ill advised thread with a piece of your gossip that Mahrez would leave. 3 transfer windows later he is still with us and we won the title and were the last standing in the CL with Mahrez prominent in all of that. If he moves on this summer you will only resemble a broken clock that is right twice a day

2 - players move on and come and go. I'm more bothered about keeping Schmeichel and Vardy as both are more influential to us

3 - the fact you think Spurs would get him is laughable. Lets say Leicester accepted a bid. When Levy offers Mahrez £10 per week and a snickers bar, Mahrez would hand the snickers back, tell Levy to get some nuts and to f*** off

4 - your concern is very kind but personally I'd have more concern for your own team. The vultures are circling and you know as well as anyone that they will be prized away but more money
