6:00 Leicester - Jungle Queen e/w

(Showed good speed at Windsor on debut from bad draw).

The 11th richest man in Wales seems most intent on winning that Bumper at Ffos Las this afternoon, the ‘lucky last’ (4.50), as he’s got 3 out of the 7 runners! He’s moved that Luckofthedraw stables, I see, and is now under the care of Christian Williams. Here’s today quiz quest then, people. What did Derek ‘Thommo’ Thompson use to call Christian Williams when he was an amateur jockey??? It’s actual quite obvious if you think about it.

Pretty mean fare today.
Hope and Glory 10-1 is worth an E-W bet. Dascombe has started well with his 2yos and there's enough about this one's relations to hope she'll be forward enough to feature in the first at Leicester.

Mr Christian.

Just one of the many irritating things that Thommo always used to repeat in his commentaries

Correct. Well done. It was Mister Christian.

I think Derek ‘Thommo’ Thompson would liven up the current staid ITV broadcasts. Also miss his old 6.55 slot, of a morn, on TalkSPORT with the legend of the airwaves ‘Big’ Alan Brazil.

My answer shows I've been in Germany too long and have an alcohol fixation <laugh>

That's no problem, Mr. OddDog, but please tick the attached "Wapperl" in the appropriate box before we proceed any further. Thank you.

Well wouldn't you just know it....got a good placepot running at Ffos Las.
First 5 in.....one to go.
It was Rhaegar, trained by my favourite trainer, which I've just noticed was pulled out an hour ago.
My placepot now relies on the favourite, trained by "The forums favourite trainer" who I don't touch with a scabby barge pole as a rule.
Let's see if he manages to climb a "perch" in my estimations come 4.55!!!

Cheers Oddy, on a bit of a roll at the mo, so might join you in a few lagers...although I'll have to make do with some bottled Grolsch....Aint got access to any of them fine German lagers at the mo!!!

Gonna chance a few shekels on Lemon's Gent in the 7.15 Exeter. 9/1 too big for a horse that likes the ground and distance. Might get his own way in front too, and quite like Sheehan for front running tactics.

After timing but I just backed the outsider in that 3 horse race at Exeter, shame I only had £1.40 in my account.
