The bbc also reported that Keith Allens (lily's dad?) Barnsley lost to Southampton on Saturday.
Then, while flicking through a rather tired red top known as the mirror today, I noticed the same mistake.
The cheap hacks just got the report from the bbc site! How crap is that.
Yep, lazy reporting. Le God, you can't get away from it, can you..? Even bloody so-called professional sports journalists would rather write an inaccurate headline that looks good than tell the truth. Calm, calm, calm.
In truth, we are equal 1st with Cardiff. The other three teams on 6 points are in 2nd place [or is it equal 5th..?].
As a Cardiff born Saint I am very happy tonight, although I reckon we should be top as we got there first!
We play Cardiff up here in a few weeks...any idea what my chances are of getting away tickets to cheers on the yellows, given my Cardiff address???
Just checked league rule (took me half an hour)..if everything is equal at end of season, league position is decided by head to head results following same rules (points scored, goal difference, goals scored). If still remains equal, a play-off match is played so no need for change to Saints name.
