I went last night (a mate who's a spammers fan got me a ticket). I can categorically say that I never saw these t-shirts that Piskie keeps banging on about?
So, what we have here is a bunch of Leicester fans, who have nothing left to cheer about, trying to console themselves by seeing Spurs' title aspirations dented. And a Gooner who thinks that laughing at Spurs will hide the tears from his club's humiliation last Sunday, and their current league position.
It was on radio 5 live at WHL that they said about the t-shirts. There's at least one outlet selling them online now too. Along with the 'Wenger we want you to stay' scarves, seems like there's a fair bit of merch for Spurs fans to celebrate the finishing above Arsenal cup with
I expect there's a few out there somewhere, just as I'm sure there's more than a few St Totteringham's day t-shirts too. As I've said, he thinks that laughing at Spurs will hide his own tears!...
Don't not worry about me mate, I'm under no illusions that we've had a ****e season. I'm just laughing at your lot bottling it again, made especially funny that it was at West Ham. There's still the prospect for you that both Chelsea and Arsenal will win silverware this season, whilst Spurs end up with **** all again.
So let me think about this for a moment...believe radio 5 or some online outlet whose picked up on the story and sees a quick buck or believe what I actually saw with my own eyes, as I was there? Um..tough choice
Yeah I'm going with Radio 5 live To be fair though, the t shirts were just one aspect of the Jizz fest
On a serious note, first time at the ground (I did go during the olympics) and I have to say that I think the fans are being short changed with this as their home. A horrible, soulless place where you're a train ride away from the pitch. Brady must be extremely proud that she has managed to "mug off" West Ham fans.
Agreed Fosse...... I was hoping to be pushed a bit harder last season but alas they just seemed to wave the white flag to both us and the Goons.... Oh right, hmmmm . So, how far has this Juggernaut come both domestically and in Europe over those two years NSIS ? I fear this road train will be a total write off next season fella, what with playing at Wembley and the high possibility of both manager and some of your better players moving on next season especially looking at those the dejected faces of your players exiting the pitch at West Ham last night !
It's a horrible stadium for football. Financially it was a no brainier or West Ham, especially seeing as the taxpayer is footing the bill. I hate those stadiums with running tracks around the sides. I remember Stamford bridge in the 80's used to be like that, along with a horrible hooligan element. Awful place to go as an away fan.
As Pochettino said, clubs that want our players are welcome to come and talk to Daniel Levy. In other words, good luck, you're gonna need it! -
