With only the final game to go against Barnsley, listed below is each player bought by Rafa How successful have Rafa's purchases been given everyone and their dog wants him to be given somewhere between £60M and £100M to spend on new players.

Also, I have given a rating guide as follows:

Cut and paste if you want but how do you rate each player?


A – Has proved a good signing for the Championship this season and will be able to do it in Premier League.

B – Has proved a good signing for the Championship this season and might be able to do it in Premier League.

C – Has proved a good signing for the Championship this season and maybe worth keeping as a squad player in Premier League.

D – Has proved an average signing for the Championship this season and will need to find another club.

E – Has proved a poor signing for the Championship this season and will need to find another club.

Ciaran Clark – Started 34 (+0) – Rating A

Mohamed Diame – Started 27 (+9) – Rating D

Isaac Hayden – Started 27 (+5) – Rating B

D for Diame I find is harsh, if Sels is gonna be a do. C would be fine. Hanley the same, done a job whenever asked to do one. Atsus not been that bad either. Sure, he's no world beater but come on. We're in a shot of winning the league still.

I'd put Atsu and Diame as C not D.

Can't really rate Lazaar as I've not seen him play.

I think Hayden is a C right now but looks like one for the future so a B in terms of 'potential'.

Otherwise pretty much agree.

I'd like to see Rafa get what he needs to spend. Did well last summer - especially considering the constraint of only being able to offer Championship football and wages. This summer he'll be able to offer Premier League football and Championship wages, so positive baby steps.
