I was at Reading that year, so saw Kurt et al play! I'd also seen them a few months earlier in Belfast Kings Hall.

Here's a list of oldies.....

The Who
Rolling Stones
Neil Young
Bob Dylan
Tom Jones
Bruce Springsteen
Tony Bennet
Donovan
Iggy Pop
Lou Reed
Tom Jones

T in the Park 2011 - he was supposed to be on the Sunday I think, but someone dropped out and he moved himself into the Saturday afternoon slot - absolutely smashed it, brilliant
Nice... saw him in Melbourne - Rod Laver Arena - around the time he was promoting Reloaded - was gyrating like a teenager and a class show.
So it's Bruce or Bob.

I'll go Bruce (and get it wrong in a 50/50)

Yes, The Boss has played Hampden a few times, and the wife has gone, but I've never made it for some reason - over to you Ian

Guess I got Bob

Saw Dylan at Glasto either 98 or 99, really disapointed

OK, been waiting for this... don't get me started

New Order
Spear of Destiny
Cure
Echo and the Bunnymen
Cramps
King Kurt
UB40
Pretenders

When did you leave the UK Ian?
The Smiths
Saw the smiths in 84 when first album came out, supported by redskins and billy bragg. Lyceum. Also at GLC jobs for a change in Southbank. Mari Wilson was headlining, billy bragg wandered past, picked up Johnny Marrs guitar and did an impromptu 3 song set...

Brixton academy in 83, power corruption and lies tour supported by James and The Wake. Festival hall supported by John cooper clarke, life and Keith Allen. Michael sobel sports centre in Islington - I can be heard on the bootleg singing opening track ceremony - I have the cassette. Love New order. One of my all time favourites
