Not sure any Saints fan would disagree with you there mate, this is the first season under this ownership that we won't improve on last seasons league position (6th).. bit of a glass ceiling now though.

If we still had Mourinho as manager, Ake would probably already be wearing red stripes! <laugh>

Decent player Romeu, was just never going to get in ahead of Matic and Fabregas. (and would have less chance now we have Kante as well).
Ditto with Bertrand, although I would have liked to have kept hold of him :(

Also ((away from Saints but generally) I think it's a bit ****ty to say your only loyalty is with the person that employed you. Of course that's where your deepest loyalties lie but you should show some respect to the supporters of the club your employed by too.

Everybody has their own idea of loyalty. Pochettino has his.

I know nothing of any further promises you say he made. His 2013 statement does sound pretty unequivocal. He obviously followed through on what he said he would do.

His season ticket gave him special behind the scenes access though mate, and despite being a Spuds fan, he went to watch Ox play in the under 12's <laugh>

There were rumours that Cortese would leave in Summer 13, they didn't materialise. He then did leave in January '14. It was around that time that he said he remained committed to Saints and the 'journey' - or words to that effect.

Either way it's done with now you got a decent manager and we've done very well since <ok>
