    71, actually. And two of those players have 10+ years left in them, with an average age of 23. You spent 75 on a striker who can't score, and a defender who can't tackle, with an average age of 25. In fact, your defender has scored more goals for you than your striker.

    How many of Chelsea's best players have joined a PL rival? How many have committed themselves to Chelsea and then left them the next week?
    The answer is none, so put a bit of perspective on it before you start having a go, not to mention generalising about all Liverpool fans.
    If Lampard left for United, what would some Chelsea fans do?

    You are an absolute mug. David Luiz is well on his way to becoming the best CB in the league. Jordan Henderson couldn't even play good football at Coventry City... Oh and Nando has a world cup under his belt, what do all of those players have?

    The first comment is pure speculation. Luiz isn't even in the top 10 CBs in the league. At 21 he'd played about 30 top flight games in Portugal and had 2 caps for the Brazil U20 team.
    At 21 Henderson has PL experience, a full international cap, 5 years to run on his contract, and was playing for his local team. You may not value any of those, but they add more to the price.
    The world cup comment is ridiculous. Torres had an awful WC, and if you rate players purely on medals won then you'd love John O'Shea in your team. The Euro medal holds more water, since he actually did something to win that. But that was 3 years ago.
    He may well come good, but he'll never be worth £50m again.
