    Did you watch the fight?

It was very much in doubt for about 3 rounds after Joshua had been put on his arse.

I thought Joshua had lost it for awhile. Great recovery but I still thought he was going to lose it on points. Scorecards showed Joshua smashing it from start to finish. That was a surprise to me, but he did an excellent job against arguably the toughest opponent he'll ever face.

Klitschko was never as good as Joshua could be which showed tonight, sadly AJ will probably never go toe to toe with somebody equal. Possibly Fury, who I think is a very under rated boxer, but once he's down... nothing. Joshua has probably peaked before hitting his prime. Nobody will come close to challenging him.

And I remember people saying exactly the same thing when he was knocking everybody over, too...

Tyson was a spent force by the time he fought Lewis. In his prime, he was unlike anything seen before or since.

Tyson in his prime would have wipe the floor with AJ! AJ fought like a fighter on a downward curve to me!

Absolute rubbish, AJ will learn from this fight, his inexperience and niavitey was exposed, it won't happen again, he's just going to get better. No one in the division comes close to him, Fury will take the fight for a payday but he doesn't have the chin that Vlad does so his only hope is fighting on the back foot, if AJ catches him it's over.

No, but that's boxing. Did anything Wlad do win him the bout? Joshua earns more respect for working his way back from the knock down and beating Wlad.

That was the very best we'll ever see from Klitschko. Still he wasn't good enough to beat relative newcomer Joshua.

What's your point? I said Lewis battered him, and he did.

If you knocked on your arse then there is some doubt surely?

You seem very black and white when it comes to boxing GLP.

The more I think about it the more this fight seems like an instant classic.

It had almost everything in the fight and the stage surrounding it etc.

I'd rather Joshua fight Wilder or Parker next than see a rematch. Wlad looked in his best shape for about 5 years last night, despite being inactive and 41. He's only going to get worse and AJ should move on to the newer champions.

The biggest thing AJ can take from this is he knows he can take a monster shot, get up, and go on. This must be huge in terms of a confidence booster.

    Amazing fight!

    Totally agree.

I'm seriously struggling to think of a better fight I've seen since I was a kid in the 80's/early 90's.

It has to go down as a classic of modern day boxing.

Like you say it had everything. Rare these days.

    A proper ding dong.

Not if you can get up and go on to win, then there is no doubt. I did tell you Joshua would win.

That is the best Klitschko has looked in his whole boxing career. Still he didn't have enough.

Ok mate we'll leave it. Drifting slightly into Bummers territory here and there's no need.

Eh? I would never say someone put on their arse and floundering for 2 rounds was 'never in doubt'.
