I'm sure Newcastle are even more astounded at how on Earth they managed to receive £35m for a drunkard with a ponytail.

Calm down mate. I was clearly stating a point. Just because you've got the hump because your team couldn't even score a goal and were ****.

Carroll for £35 mil is better business than Torres for £50 mil. That will go down as the worst signing in history!!!!!!!

Well Chelsea do like a terrible striker dont they. Sheva thought he had the honour of being the worst striker in history ( in terms of his fee ) but this new kid on the block, Fern, well hes just so focussed on being **** I feel his value has dropped by at least 70% already.

Yet surprisingly our drunkard with a ponytail outscored your girly boy last season, and during pre-season and looks set to outscore him this season too. If we're actually talking about how many Carroll scored, he scored once yesterday, but it was wrongly disallowed.

Torres was sharp and had generally a good game, Ramires & Lampard had better IMO but Nando is well on the way to recovery after his 3 year hell.

He didn't have a shot on target in a game which finished 0-0... Strange decision that one. Thought Begovic and all the stoke defenders played better.

I've found myself actually just agreeing with Gary Neville who was speaking sense! What's going on!

How many did Carolol score yesterday?

None.

But here's a point for you... Andy Carroll has scored more goals for Liverpool than Fernando Torres has scored for Chelsea. And Andy Carroll cost £15M less than Fernando Torres.

<ok>

Calm down, calm down <laugh> <laugh>

You get a home score draw against Sunderland and feel the need to downplay our away draw to a team who is actually in Europe this season, unlike your lot?

Carolol is worth barely £15m even in today's market.

I genuinely believe that Torres will become lethal again this season.

Feel as though many of you will be eating your words by the end of the season. Might put a cheeky bet on him winning the golden boot.

Pointless comparison considering the gulf in class between the two players. Torres is a current European and World Cup champion. Carolol was playing in the Championship just over a year ago. You yourselves paid less £7m+ less for Torres than you did for Carolol. Honestly if someone were to compare the two in summer 2010 you Liverpool fans would have been calling for that person to be taken to a mental asylum for even daring to mention Carololol in the same breath as Torres.

"Torres was sharp and had generally a good game"

But he did'nt do what he gets paid for yet again and again got subbed.

Hes got more splinters in his arse than goals for Chelsea because he's spent most of his Chelsea career on their bench.

just watched the Stoke v Chelsea game. My impression - same old same old! Stoke did their usual thing but ran out of puff in the 2nd half. Chelsea did the same thing - very slow in the midfield.

Not sure what we can interprit from the game.
