Email just received: In June 2017 Queens Park Rangers will be re-launching their website. As a result, your subscription to PlayerHD will be cancelled. PlayerHD is a service run by EFL Digital Limited, a central collective that provides digital services for football clubs. As Queens Park Rangers will no longer be part of EFL Digital, the PlayerHD service will soon close down. Your club will communicate details around any service that they will be operating on their new website in due course.
Just received the same. Must be honest, I'm not devastated by this as I have thought a few times recently if it is worth it as I rarely watch anything on there, and can find match highlights elsewhere for free. Are there any great videos on there that anyone would recommend searching through the archives to find before they shut it down? Any ideas what, if any, the replacement will be?
I think it's just not for you. If someone wanted to analyse each game, it was good. You could also abstain from looking at the results for games you couldn't attend and then watch the whole match a couple of days later. So it would have been decent value for some.
Good point. I remember the days when I could set aside 90 minutes to watch a game of football. I call that the 'pre-child' time.
Good news everyone, I subscribed for QPR Player on the 10/9/2016 and I have just had an email with my refund details due to the service being cancelled. I am getting...wait for it...10p back! Can someone please explain this...I signed up in September, so from when they cancel it in early June (is that right???) that is about a quarter of my subscription time. How does a quarter of £31.49 work out at 10p. No biggy, but just feels a bit like those who have subscribed are being screwed over. Anyone else had a similar email?
As a Rangers fan, I've found it cheaper to do a bulk buy in Makro at the start of the season...just for future reference.
