It will be a challenge for Poch and his pride of young lions, of that I am sure the club is well aware. Hopefully, they will get sufficient opportunity to play on the turf, and I hope that Poch is able to work out a strategy to win our home games. We won't be able to play our using pressing game at Wembley, because we'll simply run out of steam. The advantage we will have is that, once a strategy can be formulated, we'll get 19 games in the season to practice it, whereas our opponents will have only the one chance.

Not quite Tyler Wembley is our second home and we have a great record there as you found out when we dry humped you.

Whatever transpires, and provided that the club keeps hold of all of our key players, I see us being more than capable of challenging for top 4 again, and any team that doubts is making the very grave mistake of underestimating us.

You won't..players won't stay at a club that pays appalling wages and no ambition while the directors get fat mugging off the fans.

As for Chelsea, there are a number of things that come into play when I make the assessment in my previous post.

Firstly, Conte will be in his second season, and no longer an unknown quantity. Opponents will know how he sets his teams up, and they can learn how to counter that.

Conte played a different formation against you with a weakened team then changed it when Costa &Hazard took the piss out of you. That's the difference with Conte he can change in a moment something your boy cannot do.

Secondly, there will be a level of expectation hanging over Conte's head, like the proverbial Sword of Damocles. How will he deal with that pressure?

Of course he can cope with any situation he has done so at Juve & the Italian national side and has won trophies unlike the Argentinian Poncetto.

Thirdly, you have a couple of significant player-issues to resolve, namely Hazard and Costa.

Hazard has stated he will stay but Costa will probably go but you can be sure Chelsea will buy a world class player as a replacement.

Fourthly, the likes of Arsenal, United, City and 'Pool all have to strengthen. Throw Spurs into the mix, and that's five major rivals that Chelsea will be facing next season, and every season.

All those clubs including Chelsea will strengthen there squads but Danny boy will not one can only see you pushed out the equation.

The idea that winning the title this season is somehow the start of a guaranteed period of domination at the top of the Prem for Chelsea is simply too far-fetched.

Next year will be more of a challenge for sure as we will have Champions league football but we will have strengthened enough to cope with the extra games and I don't envisage us being beaten by postmen & plumbers.

Next year... etc

<wah>

Sorry, Skid, but I could hear what you were trying to mumble through those tears.

Plus winning the FA Cup is more noteworthy than a top 4 finish too...so there is no credit to be handed out for finishing 2-4, only first and only FA Cup winners...used to be other way around for many if i recall..but anyway's Roofus, them's the 'official' rules, going forward.

Finishing 2-4 is nothing more than Mutton dressed as Lamb, them teams dont get credit.

Them's the rules Roofus <ok>
Sorry Spurlock , I have my own rules .... like everyone .

8 yes...this one is needed Roofus.

optimistic about the Swans home run?
No , but I'm less worried than most if we don't stay up . I hate what the Premier League has become and treading through it for 6 seasons with a net spend in the Black is quite an achievement . Your net spend over that time period is amazing in itself , when you look at what you've accomplished within the " Big Money " spending clubs . Spurs fans should be proud , like I am of my club
