Jeremy's idea is that his huge army of fans will go round knocking on doors, and persuade the electorate to vote him into No. 10. What will be your response?

Genuine question to the Labour moderates on here -

@SuperChrissyisfantasticPardswasatrocious @DonCorleone @charltonted @The Kish @ForestHillBilly

If you feel sufficiently offended about the state of the Labour Party - why don't you DO something ? The so called Moderates have not got a backbone between them. 35 years ago the likes of David Owen and Woy Jenkins took on Militant and formed their own Party ! 50 years ago Hugh Gaitskell said he would "fight and fight and fight again" for the Party he loved.

What is the Labour Moderates equivalent response in 2017 ?

@SuperChrissyisfantasticPardswasatrocious in bed all week with man flu !

In all honesty what is happening to the Labour Party is a takeover by the UK Communist Party under the name of Momentum and the traditional Labour supporters are just letting it happen? I guess the 'cobweb theory' is going on here... first Blair (to make the Party electable) took the Labour Party too far Right and now Corbyn (more precisely Momentum) is taking the LP far left into Communist Party territory...

What is happening to Labour at present reminds me of Wimbledon FC... moved to MK but the owner pretends it is the same Wimbledon <doh> .... perhaps the traditional Labour activists need to form AFC Labour to reclaim their Party?

Beyond attending ward meetings and saying My piece, what else? The moderates are in a big majority in Orpington, one of them is a fellow protestor. We saw off Militant and we will see off Momentum

There are widespread reports this morning that Corbyn spent much of yesterday doing what is really the No.1 priority for him - stitching up safe Labour seats for his backers so that he can secure the 15% backing in the PLP he will need after the Election to stand again. Corbyn seems to have a particular problem though in Hull West (Alan Johnson's seat) - he appears to have promised TWO of his staff the same seat <laugh>

Real pork barrel Labour politics ...
