Abe is normally a good player, he had a bad day & in fairness SGE subbed him after 46 mins (I think) No need to boo after 1 bad game & only 2 games in. RFC were the better team on the day, we lost, they won get over it & look forward to weds. If after 8 games we are where we were last season have a go, til then CHILL. All the people that will boo & right LC off after 2 games will be the same that are having ago at other clubs (here on not606) when/if we start to kick a*** & climb to the top of table. As did I. Most LC fans are on edge today but it´s only football pure & simple. We all know that the other 23 clubs in the npower want to shoot us down & shoot us down they will when we lose, BRING IT ON. Still rather be in our position than any other team in the npower & about 10 or so teams in the prem. Have a good season & remember, it´s 46 games long
i couldnt believe the atmosphere- simply fantastic, loudest ive heard in a long time. Constant 'intelligent' (for football!) chants and very frequent. Maybe thats just because i moved from kop to near away fans (J3). Paintsil rateings i feel a little harsh- was defensively solid and looked to get forward a lot. I didnt see cov- is he better than peltier? Schimiechal pulled off great saves and has a lot of passion. I hope what he is saying isnt targetting as it could get very downhearting having him scream at you, but i like his organisation- we learnt from 5-a-side that a vocal keeper is one of the most vital parts of defending as they can see the movement better than the CBs. Well done fernandes- did your job brilliantly. Wellens has a little far forward, i prefered him in the 'Abe' role he had in the 2nd half. Pulls the strings and gets stuck in better from deep, not in the face of the defenders. King simply has to start (or danns in that position), as he is the goal threat and the flair. At least in home games anyway. Schlupp- some day, not now. Maybe a january loan and use him till then to see how it goes. A lot of threat of perpose, but i feel he doesnt really know what to do with it. Mills- solid defender but not his greatest game, no-where near as bad as people are making out. Bamba was outstanding... has eh ever been beaten in the air!? He worries me with his 'skills' in sticky situations, but they always seem to come off! Konchesky is solid and does what a LB should do. Danns- out of position and obvious. A lot of energy and good touches, but he is a central midfield player. Play gallagher. Why sign him, on his huge wages, to play him there? Surely routledge would have been the man if we were looking to strengthen that position. Nugent- isolated but very stisfying in total. Fills me with confidence. Just hope he scores soon so it doesnt turn into a 'when will he score' scenario and destroy his confidence a bit. Abe- the way he plays, i feel he is one for the away games.
Everyone calm down. we lost 1 game so what. Southampton will lose a game soon as will everybody. Thats the nature of the championship. No one will walk it. As for people going on about Racism etc. I dont think the comment was racist but it wasnt appropriate so i have removed it at a request from other members.
