I noticed that about their peas mate.
Aldi's own ones are much better. <ok>

    And!
Can we get the bastards under the trades description act for frozen pies? (Which ever brand makes them they are all the same.)
A picture of a pie brimming with meat falling out of a crisp pastry.
You actually get a soggy gravy sandwich. :p

FFS Chunky, you've unearthed my pet hate apart from punctuality? These meals are either made for kids or women on weight watchers.

Tbh Chunky I was expecting something in the line of food prices and fuel prices when crued oil is a third of the price it was in 2008. Those tories will never change but you guys (English) voted them in?????????????????????? Especailly when they always sh*t on the north of england but that's for another forum mate so rant over....

Pies are one of my loves.

Tinny & Stanton's are ****ing garbage.

    Raw, uncooked pastry.

Why can't they cook pies right through?

For pies it has to be frey bentos for me. steak and ale mmmmmmmmmm

as for frozen meals, i never ever buy them, Wife always says "they are good for the 2 lads to cook" they are 20 and 18 and cant use the cooker ffs, mothered far to bloody much, but i cant stand them, its like Mcdonalds and all the other crappy fast food american ****e (Burgerking etc) picture on the window shows a massive burger, you get one and you need 10 to fill you up, waste of bloody money. KFC bucket for myself is OK though.

Steve, what I like to do with the Fray Bentos pies is take off the pastry topping & put it on a separate shelf to the tin withe the meat/gravy in.

That way it cooks the layers of puff pastry right through.

I then spoon the filling into a giant Yorkshire pudding & put the pie crust on top.

Serve with minted baby new spuds & peas.

    Lush!

    I'm just thinking now.

Are Yorkshire puddings the best thing to come out of Yorkshire?

    Apart from Steve Agnew like.

And another thing that sticks in my craw.

Taking 500 ****ing quid a month off my meagre wages when the quality of goods & services in this country continues to deminish faster than a mag lass can drop her keks.

    Robbing government twat ****y ****y woo woo's.

    I'll not sleep tonight now.
