Before the arrival of mega wages, many teams in the lower half of the PL and the Championhsip would have signed him up. Now these teams cannot pay the same salary he gets at Chelsea. He would be ideal for a club like Leeds to either guide them to promotion next season or survival in the PL if they manage to get through to the play-off stage and win it.

In my recent conversation with Lawrie McMenemy we touched on his ability to get players many pundits thought "past it" to work with his younger players and show them the skills and ability to succeed. There are too many players to mention but, Bally, Ossy, Charlie and Peter Rodrigues were mentioned. He admitted that this couldn't happen any more as these players would have to take a massive pay cut to drop a division and their agents wouldn't like that - they'd be more likely to go overseas. Sad, isn't It? Then we talked about agents and I agree with everything he said!

Keane leaving Burnley.

Suspect he'll be off to a bigger club than us unfortunately.

Don't think it will be one of the top ones.

Everton possibly. Maybe Spurs if Toby leaves.

Spurs was my thinking. The lad does look proper good, but Gibson of Boro was getting some rave reviews at the start of the season, but from what I've seen of him, well not that impressed, certainly not at the prices quoted.

Some bloke called Calum Chambers was getting rave reviews a couple of seasons ago. I wonder how that's working out?

Southampton want to sign Iceland playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson, 27, from Swansea and Leeds' Sweden defender Pontus Jansson, 26.(NBC)
From BBC gossip, yeeees please to Gylfi. The other dude is on loan from Torino . 26 years old but only played 100 games for Malmo before being bought by Torino and then loaned out to Leeds. Real black box type of player
