Corbyn has peaked already. Speaking at a Labour rally in Croydon, with a specially selected audience he actually spoke rather well. Let's see what happens when he goes up North<yikes>.

Few more Labour's MP's standing down this weekend. The quote from one of them: "I couldn't ask anyone to vote for corbyn"

Jeremy certainly looked happy at his rally earlier - given a rapturous standing ovation even before he had spoken.

Unfortunately the audience were handpicked Corbyn supporters <laugh>

It's just the other 25m people who are going to vote that he has to convince now

We smashed a bar a few weeks back to celebrate his 25 years. Felt like death the next day.
I was at Sunderland Road celebrating his first win 25 years ago. I'd just spent 4 days replastering the kitchen-diner, and needed a reward<ale><ale><ale><ale><ale><ale><ale><ale><ale>. He took the seat fro John Maples at the second attempt. Maples was a sore loser, and made a very ungracious speech.

Did my work experience down there. Be interesting to see who replaces Jim now - it's a comfortable seat but I'm sure Jezza can **** it up somewhere.

Doesn't he just love the adulation of the Corbynistas? As one traditional Labour voter said "He can lead a protest but he can't lead his party". Apparently when the election was announced he spoke at a meeting of the PLP, and notonce did he mention Winning, or the concept of winning. I don't think his fans are really interested in winning
Hope he does it to be honest - looking forward to his halo slipping.
That happened already when he made Sami Chakrabati a Dame in return for clearing the Labour party of anti-semitism.
Any body think he's trying to copy the Trump campaign?

Our local MP is Joe Johnson, brother of Boris. All I know about him is that he is universally regarded as a nice chap, and he will win by a landslide. Never heard of him doing anything for Orpington.

No 'e' there in Jo.

As you know, I canvassed for him after he was adopted in 2010. Huge brain, if a little diffident for my taste.
