They'll lie through their teeth, and unfortunately there'll be enough mugs around to believe them no matter how comprehensively their claims are debunked. It's always been like this, so I can't see it being any different in the future.

If the DUP could come to their senses and support remaining in the EU. Then it would be win, win for Northern Ireland and just the message to send to the Tory B******** in Westminster.

My Facebook page now full of talk of a coalition of the left to defeat the Tories...

This is what I immediately imagined:

For labour to stand a chance their leader
    needs to stand down.

He won't though..there's lots of Twitter folks to allow him to carry on his delusions...none of them will vote like...that means going out of the house...but they'll change their profile to "I'm for Corbyn" etc and threatened to kill every Tory and Labour mainstream politician with a twitter account...and anyone that agrees with them...and anyone with a cat in their profile pic, and anyone that smells faintly of Jew.

It'll make him feel all warm and fuzzy.

For Corbyn "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."

Predict the Lib Dems will be the second biggest party, but way behind the Tories. Not only will Corbyn destroy Labour for a long time he will enable the Lib Dems to recover from their lowest level for years as people forgive them for joining the Tories in the past.

Lib Dems were a bit quiet in the coalition with the Tories last time.

    I think
    A) may is trying to establish a large eough majority rhat the far far right can be ignored and she will be able to trade off things to get a deal with eu.

    B) i think corbyn has already ruined labour and the inability of labour party to remove him when chance was there will utterly end the party as a force.

    C) lib dems wont have candidates or scotland to make them anything like 2nd party

    D) no damage to snp will occur. Nit sure they can do much better than last time of course

    E) ni is irrelevant in this.

    F) may will get shut of johnson etc in cabinet

Don't underestimate the appetite in London to go wholesale Lib-Dem. I think there is still time for an anti-Brexit movement to coalesce across what remains of the Liberal/ 'left'. My kids (all under 25) are already in gear on social media: I suspect this could be 'their' election.

The only sad thing is that among all of this huffing and puffing, Corbyn is a deep-seated Brexiteer.... He was a major part of the problem last time around. IMHO, he's a well-meaning fraud.

Labour should come out and say they'll iron lock a guarentee for a referendum on whether Britain should accept the terms of the Brexit negotiations. That, along with the imminent financial collapse of your education system and the NHS in meltdown should be enough to cause damage to the evil scum in power.

    It's true ...

The way politics plays out online creates a misconception in comparison to real world ballot box politics, in many ways social media campaigns and pages which are based around being reactionary, and around ideals and notions and principles are very detrimental and dangerous to actual realpolitik which is where real and true change happens, it's fine shouting about your principles online but if you think that is authentic political action you're completely deluded, social media is a dream world

Labour is way too conflicted and contradictory to come anywhere near a win. Corbyn is simply still too divisive despite the leadership contest

It would be in that party's best interests to still split probably into two political entities, the Corbynites and a more Centrist left-wing party but the problems in doing that with the electorate are obvious so it will never happen
