Two former champions share top scores in this round, deedub93 * BajanSpur * 14 points each for them and their honorary stars to recognise their former glory. Following the suggestion from BajanSpur all former champs will show a * for each winning of the league. Perhaps one day we can organise a dinner for the former champs . Blue and White's record score will go as we enter the highest scoring league ever. Thanks of course to Spurs tremendous form. Luke retains his lead with a 5 point gap.Two star Rebelspur leads Division 2 with a late run and PleaseNotPoll proudly wears his star to remind us of when he was good at this game. Is he a one season wonder? Time will tell <laugh> Everybody down to 15th position surpasses former champ rothspur's score. That means the only former champion I have not mentioned is the first champion, when the rules were different, onlythespurs, and he hasn't been seen for years. BTW there will be no extra points for Brian especially as he is a point ahead of me. The usual 7 failed to predict and are sliding slowly into the pit of ignominy. Next predict game Palace, might be tricky.

Palace 0 Spurs 4 Kane Janssen Son Dier

I'll do the goons match as well as I might be lost in fun city (Nairobi)

Spurs 5 : the sad excuses for a football team 1 Kane x 3 Janssen and Sissoko

Dinner for the champions sound like a good idea, and maybe we should include anyone who has finished in the top four.

The 'star' labelling sounded like a good idea at the time, but I'm now wondering if they appear a bit too much 'in your face'.
I'm now also wondering how we can tone them down a bit (to make them more subtle). We don't want to appear to be bragging, it's just a pride thing, I'm sure we can all relate to that. Lets leave them in for now but review at the end of the season and throw the issue out for an open vote.
Or am I being too pedantic again ?.

When do we get little wooden spoons next to our names for consistent appearances in the bottom three???

Not at all...had I won it I would be demanding my Avatar gets Gold plated at the very least.

Stop pandering to the masses, no one does that anymore in this modern world. <laugh>
