Tottenham full-back Danny Rose is progressing well with his rehabilitation following a knee injury and is expected to start outdoor work next week, according to the club.

Midfielder Victor Wanyama trained with the squad this week and is available for selection after his back problem.

The swelling of keeper Michel Vorm's knee is settling and continues to be assessed.

(BBC Football, ahead of our clash with Bournemouth, on Saturday, 15 April 2017)

This looks promising.

Especially with it looking likely that Kane will be starting.

How is Lamela getting on?

That's a shame.

Nice one, though, putting it in this thread, DH.
<ok>

I thought I'd start this thread to keep tabs on our various injuries.

Midfielder Moussa Sissoko is still suffering from a bizarre combination of rickets, shingles and Chagas disease, all of which conspire to make him unable to control a ball, let alone pass it to a teammate

What's the long-term prognosis, HBIC?

Cerebral Palsy!! .........
Variations in muscle tone, such as being either too stiff or too floppy.
Stiff muscles and exaggerated reflexes (spasticity)
Stiff muscles with normal reflexes (rigidity)
Lack of muscle coordination (ataxia)
Tremors or involuntary movements.

At least you'll keep him this summer.

He's not going to be passing any medicals.
It wouldn't be an issue, assuming that the operation goes well.
Might be a consideration in our transfer targets, though.
Sessegnon from Fulham could move up the list.

Can see Sessegnon doing the opposite of Rose and becoming a winger in the long run.

If you did lose Rose would you look to replace him with a first choice or would Davies be ok? He's one of those players that always surprises me. Good, solid left back.

Should go for him anyway, looks a class little player, do an Alli-like deal where he stays at Fulham for the season.

Yeah, Sessegnon does have some shades of Bale about him, though I mean that very provisionally.
Gets forward really well and is happy playing wide or coming inside and putting the ball in the net.
Very early to be making comparisons like that, of course, but I mean it in terms of style of play more than anything.
Could do very well in Pochettino's preferred systems though, if he could make the step up.

Davies is very good cover, but I'd assume that we'd be looking for someone to come in as first choice if Rose was to leave.
Saying that, I wouldn't put it past Levy to go with a youngster and use the cash elsewhere, be it on players or the stadium.
Pochettino might fancy working with Shaw again, thought I'm not convinced and he wouldn't be great value.

He got unfair stick by some when Mane tore him a new one (in a system that really didn't suit Ben up against someone like Mane) but ever since the long run in the side he's been great.

I'd be happy with Davies as first choice, although naturally hope we keep Danny as he's excellent and definitely better.

Walker's the only one I think we'll probably lose. Possibly Eriksen if Barca do indeed come calling but I hope that's just ****ty journo talk of trying to dismantle our squad for the Sky 4.

Not sure we're keen on loan deals any more, but that sort of thing could be an exception.
He'd be in London, we could still draft him into youth games and it'd be easy to monitor him.
Could depend on their promotion and on who else comes in for him, though.
Not many good left-backs around at the moment.

I can honestly see Barca and Madrid coming in for Eriksen and Alli. You'll get the best part of 150m for the pair though.

Massive summer for Spurs. Stick or twist because this new stadium aint cheap.

I just hope you can land your first/second target because Chilwell will probably catch your interest.

Barca are after Coutinho and he's talking it up, basically.
Real don't really have a place for Alli in their side, as he'd try and score goals and Ronaldo would get upset.

Chilwell looks a good prospect, as does Gray. I suspect you'll have a few teams sniffing around both this summer.
I think that the former will stay, as he's one of your youth players and he's getting decent game time for his age.
Gray seems less patient, though that could just be media bullshit, of course.
